Endicott Park Engagement - Lacey & Tim

Fall is defiantly my favorite season for number of reasons, such as the foliage, the cool & dry weather and of course my birthday is in Fall as well. For this Fall engagement session with Lacey & Tim, we choose  Endicott Park, Danvers not only because it has great foliage but also because of the pond that looks like a mirror, the barn house that gives a rustic look and the open road that could accommodate the motorcycle modeling style shoot we did at the end of the session. It was such a beautiful day with overcast sky that gave a soft lighting look early in the morning, then a sunny noon time that provided us a dramatic look with the motorcycle. We could easily stay longer if we had the time as there were many other interesting spots that had not been discovered. I would defiantly revisit this awesome park in the near future.

Location: Endicott Park, Danvers MA

Boston Engagement - Alyssa & Doug

Alyssa & Doug are such a fun couple to work with. From bringing great post ideas throughout the session to showing intimacy to each other in front of my camera. We ended up with more than usual images and the results are just simply amazing. Thank you Alyssa and Doug, I can't wait for your wedding.

Lake Pearl wrentham wedding - Nish & Vijay

It was in the middle of Spring season where it often drizzles and cool in the morning and there's no exception on Nish & Vijay's wedding day. With the wet ground we decided to have our 1st look indoor. We found a hallway with huge windows overlooking the garden and thought it would be a great spot just for that.

We were looing to have more portrait of the couple afterward but was afraid that the weather might leave some marks on the wedding gown before the ceremony. Luckily, the awesome stuffs from Lake Pearl Wrentham took us to the lakeside gazebos with their golf cart for a great water view. We defiantly enjoyed staying dry through out the session.

After the ceremony at St. Mary Catholic Church, we headed back to the ball room at Lake Pearl. With the up lighted room, beautifully done table sets and the beat dropped, the party had started in full blast. From the excitement of the wedding party intro, to the lovely song singing by the groom and the breathtaking Bollywood dancing by the ladies. It was such a great time with honor to be in such a special wedding. Thanks so much for having me there!

Boston Pre wedding - Kim & Tony

It was in the upper 50s with wind during this mid-June pre-wedding session. We absolutely loved the overcast sky that provided us great lighting and it was not nearly as crowded as it normally would at downtown Boston. Though, towards the end of the session, Kim could not help but having the goose bumps popping out on her caused by the chilly weather. I must say that Kim & Tony are one of the most amazing couple that I've worked with for putting up with the poor weather condition and still wearing a great smile with the passion for each other. As you could probably tell by the images, we have been around for quite a few spots in Beantown.

Event Center Nashua wedding - Carrie & Mike

It was a drizzling morning at such it adds a hint of romance to get started with the lovely couple's wedding day. While Mike had just finished up hanging out with the groomsmen at the basketball court, Carrie was getting her hair and makeup done and the bridesmaid had already started the party a bit early in the bridal suite at the Event Center Nashua. By the time Carrie & Mike got dropped off to the church for the ceremony, the sky had cleared. We spent the 2nd half of the morning in this beautiful Orthodox church where Mike made his proposal to Carrie a while back. The ceremony was solemn and sacred. Though I was allowed to go behind the altar with my shoes off to capture the couple as they successfully crowned to become husband and wife. We then headed over to the Mine Falls Park to take advantage of the foliage. While the ground was still wet, we didn't think it's such a good idea to drag the long tailed gown deep into the woods. So we found this bridge by the entrance, had the couple stay in one spot while I rotated around them to get different perspectives of the park and get the best out of what we were working with. During the reception at the Event Center Nashua, Main Event Entertainment had “smoked” the dance floor while the party was going non-stop until the ice-cream truck stopped by where Mike could not help but went into the truck and took a shot of the ice cream right from the machine. It was quite a night indeed.

Lakeview Pavilion wedding - Anita & Alan

The morning of Anita & Alan's wedding started in the suite of the Royal Sonesta Boston. In Chinese culture, the groom would come to pick the bride up for the ceremony in the morning. Though, there is a “door game” traditionally before the groom could even see the bride. There were not one but multiple tough tasks that Alan had to finish before he successfully come to meet Anita in her stunning red dress. After the tea ceremony where the couple received gift and blessing from the senior family members, we headed to the Lakeview Pavilion for the ceremony. We took advantage of the tall ceiling and great details of this beautiful venue for some portrait prior to the bride walking down the aisle. The amazing stuff from Lakeview Pavilion carefully curtained up the sides where all the table sets are hidden during the ceremony. While we were having family formal photo taken outside, the stuff quickly opened up the curtains and rolled out all the table sets and got the reception ready for the night. Anita & Alan rocked the dance floor with their first dance that they had practiced for months ahead. The night ended with many fun games, great dance and emotional singing by the couple. It is for sure that they have made a memorable night for everyone who attended their wedding. Thank you for putting together such an amazing wedding!

Boston Engagement - Carrie & Mike

Boston is never lack of great spot for doing engagement session as it's such a historical city. One of my favorite spot in town has got to be the Boston Public Library. Although the outside was gorgeous and the lighting was near perfect. We could not pass the opportunity but to get inside of this stunning structure to take advantage of all the sculptures, wall paintings, historic bookshelf and the fine details. After we had much fun hanging out in the reading room while trying not the bother other readers, we headed out for some classic New England back street that Mike was looking for. Then we visited the well known Acorn Street and wrapped up our session in those golden hour lighting!

Boston Pre wedding - Hitomi & Tsutomu

Although I have not met Hitomi & Tsutomu prior to their pre wedding session, we have developed the trust that a photographer & the client needs through just a few email exchanges and a brief meeting over the phone. A good communication and a great understanding of what Hitomi & Tsutomu envision, turned this session much more enjoyable with stunning result. Thank you for putting your trust in me!

Teresa's Function Facilites wedding - Caroline & Ricky

While Caroline & Ricky had their destination wedding in Italy with only the closest family members, they wanted to include all their friends and the rest of the family to celebrate their special day here in the States with them. The wedding party started at their own home where the couple got ready. We took advantage of the gorgeous weather outside and had a mini portrait session at the backyard over by the swing that they had just hung. The guests over at Teresa's Function Facilities North Reading were having a great time catching up with each other during cocktail hour while waiting for the couple's arrival. After the amazing first dance, we headed outside over by the arch for some dramatic night shots. The dance floor was filled with incredible dancers, the food was delicious, the deserts were a wonderful treat and the newly wedded were such a lovely sweethearts. Needless to say it was another amazing wedding celebration, thanks for inviting me to your special day!
