My name is Yi. I’m a proud father of three, husband to a lovely wife, latte addict and most importantly a passionate wedding photographer who has the ability to tell stories with images.

Growing up in a crowded city of Hong Kong, I appreciate the privacy and peacefulness of the American suburbs where I currently reside. This simple but meaningful lifestyle provides me the opportunity to focus on what’s most important to me - my family.

Speaking of my family, it all started back in 2009 when I married my soulmate. It was not until I saw the images from our wedding photographers that I found images are capable of telling the story of the big or little moments of our lives. It sparked my interest in photography and from that point on, I see the world in a totally different way.

Since 2014, being a wedding photographer has given me the privilege to capture some of the most priceless moments two people can share as they embark on a new adventure as partners in life. I treasure the unique opportunity to share these breathtaking moments and honor my clients by framing these precious memories in time. 

Weddings are not just inviting guests to a fancy restaurant or venue to have a fancy meal. To me, weddings are all about sharing your stories to the people you care about the most! You want your guests and yourself to have an unforgettable night that everybody goes to bed still thinking about the wedding. 

As a visual storyteller, I want to capture not only the beauty of your special event, but also the in between moments that make the story vibrant. To enable my ability to paint your picture, I’d like to learn more about what you like to do for fun, what’s your favorite Netflix show, what music you listen to and things you care about the most. My goal is to provide you with an experience that’s unique and personal, and ultimately produce images that display your character and love story.
