April + Anthony's wedding - Smolak Farms, North Andover

It’s been a year since they tied the knot at the same venue, April and Anthony have returned to Smolak Farms to celebrate at this much anticipated wedding reception. Now attended with their close friends and family members, the party was filled with joy and laughter.
We also took advantage of the cloudy sky and the golf cart Smolak provided and went on for a ride and photo session throughout the farm. I could not have asked for a better night to spend with this amazing couple!

For many weddings in 2020, aside from all the struggles to find a venue to host your long awaited event, most of the brides and grooms have to face the heartbreaking decision of who they need to un-invite from their beloved guest list.
April & Anthony have also gone through the same struggles and decided to go ahead with a socially distanced ceremony on their original date and plan for a formal reception in 2021. With that plan in mind, they were able to re-invite their friends & family to celebrate the following year who are missed at this limited capacity ceremony cost by the COVID restriction.
The day started off getting ready in their private properties. It was a beautiful sunny day so we were able to quickly go outside to take advantage of the gorgeous lighting with the wedding parties.
The event began following a short drive to Smolak Farms, where the friendly staff of Smolak Farms set up a socially distanced ceremony site at the stunning landscape of the well-known apple orchard. The clear blue sky paired with the lush green trees gave me a chance to soak up that peaceful moment as the awesome couple became Mr and Mrs.
After the short and sweet ceremony, we took a golf cart ride to the sunflower field and the barnyard for a mini portrait session. In just 15 minutes or so, we were able to capture the iconic side that the farm has to offer. While we could not complain much about the warm sunny day, we wrapped up the day inside a shaded area by the pond with dances and cake cutting.
Thanks to Ashley Piazza, the event director of Smolak Farms who coordinated everything smoothly, just so everyone attending had a stress free experience. It’s certainly the best Farms in town for your special event!
