Jenny + Preston's wedding - Misselwood Estate, Beverly MA

Being an Asian American couple, the fun wedding traditions are such an important part of the big day. From the famous door game where the bridesmaid purposely torture the groom and his crew with physical and taste buds challenges, to the tea ceremony where the couple pay their respect to the senior family members by serving them teas in return for blessings and gifts. The love and bond of their family and friends are well shown in the morning of Jenny and Preston’s wedding.

The afternoon wedding ceremony at Misselwood was nothing short of spectacular. Inside the estate, there was a well lit suite for getting ready and bridal portraits. The oceanfront ceremony site offers a stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean and the climate-controlled tent offers especially versatile reception settings.

Not to mention there are many fun spots for night portraits such as the breathtaking sunset view by the ocean, the detail filled library inside the estate and the mysterious side stairs in between the trees. It was a fun night for sure and I can’t wait to be back in this one of the kind venue just a short drive north from Boston.
