The Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University is one of the most beloved public parks in the area, and it is no surprise why photographers flock here year-round. In the spring, the cherry blossom trees steal the show with their breathtaking pink blooms. Summer transforms the park into a lush, colorful garden, with greenery and vibrant plantings from trees collected around the world. When fall arrives, the foliage turns every corner into a postcard-perfect scene, showcasing the iconic vibrant colors of a New England autumn. In winter, a blanket of snow transforms this 281-acre park into a magical wonderland, offering a completely different and equally stunning perspective.
No matter the season, the Arnold Arboretum is a photographer’s dream and one of my favorite parks to capture. Every visit brings something new, making it a perfect backdrop for portraits, engagement sessions, or simply enjoying nature’s beauty.
