Izzi + Andres's marriage proposal - Hammond Castle
On a picturesque day at Hammond Castle in Gloucester, MA, love filled the air as I had the honor of photographing a very special moment - a marriage proposal.
Andres had planned everything meticulously, from the breathtaking setting to the heartfelt words he spoke before getting down on one knee. The emotion on his face as he popped the question was priceless, and the joy and surprise on Izzi’s face were truly unforgettable.
After their proposal, I took the couple around Hammond Castle for a relaxed portrait session, weaving through some of its most iconic spaces. From the stone arches overlooking the coastline to the historic drawbridge, the dramatic Great Hall, and the intimate circular library, each setting added its own sense of romance and timeless character. The experience felt natural and unhurried, allowing them to savor the moment while I captured their genuine connection within the castle’s storybook setting.
Being able to document such a significant milestone in a couple's life is a privilege that I don't take lightly. The trust placed in me to capture these intimate moments is something I cherish deeply, and I strive to do justice to the love and connection shared between each couple I photograph.
