Marissa + Jay's engagement - Cambridge MA
In this engagement session, Marissa & Jay choose to start around the neighborhood where they go for walks during this social distancing period. It was a sunny day with warm weather. We found this little cute courtyard between buildings in shades that very much represent classic New England style with bricks, stone walls and iron gates.
We agreed on spending the golden hour at the Charles River Yacht Club. I was in such a treat for shooting at this members only yacht club and got to stroll around the docks and see these beautiful boats up close.
The lighting was at its sweet spot and the wind just added very welcomed drama to Marissa's classy blue dress from Fame and Partners. We made use of the wind with some fun filled twirling, utilized the great lighting for shots of intimate moments. We also took advantage of the beautiful Boston skyline as our background with yachts by their side to create those dramatic shots.
Thank you Marissa & Jay for your total trust in me. Can't wait to document your wedding coming up next year. I will be sure to miss this private yacht club at the Charles River.
