Christine + Hung - Hyatt Regency Cambridge Wedding
Hyatt Regency Cambridge is an amazing hotel, and I have had the pleasure of photographing three weddings at this stunning venue. From the ballroom with its 180-degree panoramic views of Boston and the Charles River through floor-to-ceiling windows to the open lobby with glass elevators, it offers incredible backdrops. This could be the perfect venue for a winter wedding.
That was certainly the case for Christine and Hung’s mid-December wedding, when temperatures were in the teens with windchill. We spent time in the Empress Room, using the 15-foot floor-to-ceiling windows as a backdrop to create elegant images with the bridal party and wedding portraits. Then we took a short walk across from the hotel and captured a few more photos with the bridal party right by the Charles River. A big shout out to the bridesmaids for braving the freezing weather. We quickly headed back inside to warm up and set up creative shots at the glass elevator and the balcony of the bridal suite.
The ceremony took place in the Charles River Ballroom. As night fell and the streetlights came on, the room’s beauty became even more dramatic. The evening continued in this stunning ballroom with laughter, tears, dancing, and cheers, creating memories that Christine and Hung will treasure forever.
