Kayla + Nolan - Wellesley Country Club Wedding in Wellesley MA

A Sunset Wedding at Wellesley Country Club

There are wedding days that feel like a beautiful event, and then there are wedding days that feel like a story you get to step inside. Kayla and Nolan’s Wellesley Country Club wedding had that magazine worthy rhythm from start to finish. Soft light, intentional moments, and a celebration that only got better as the night went on.

Getting Ready at Kayla’s Childhood Home

The day began at Kayla’s parents’ property, tucked into a backyard full of lush greenery that felt private and peaceful. It was the kind of setting that makes everything slow down in the best way. We used the backyard for relaxed group photos with her closest people, surrounded by trees and late afternoon light.

Inside, the mood shifted to cozy and intimate. Kayla finished getting ready in the living room, a warm, familiar space that made the final moments before leaving feel grounded and real. It was calm. It was emotional. And she looked absolutely radiant.

A First Look on the Wellesley Country Club Deck

When we arrived at Wellesley Country Club, we headed straight to the deck overlooking the golf course. The view is stunning, wide open greens and a classic New England backdrop that instantly feels elevated.

Their first look was quiet and intentional, just the two of them taking a breath before the day picked up speed. The deck gave them space to be present with each other, and it made for portraits that felt effortless and timeless.

Private Vows by the Fireplace

One of the most meaningful parts of the day happened away from the crowd. Kayla and Nolan shared private vows by the fireplace, a moment filled with happy tears and the kind of laughter that only comes from being completely comfortable with your person.

Afterwards, they toasted with champagne, letting the emotion settle into joy. It was tender, honest, and deeply them.

A Sunset Ceremony on the Terrace

Their ceremony took place outdoors on the Sunset Terrace, and the timing could not have been more perfect. With the golden sun low in the sky and their closest people gathered around, Kayla & Nolan said their vows and walked back up the aisle to cheers, applause, and the brightest smiles from everyone there.

The image of Nolan dipping Kayla into a kiss as the crowd clapped around them, sunlight glowing behind felt like something out of a movie.

Portraits, Foliage, and a Drone View

We then moved into portraits across the property, using the seasonal foliage as a rich, textured backdrop. We kept things natural and unhurried, focusing on connection rather than poses.

To finish, we captured a drone portrait that showed off the landscape from above, the two of them centered in all that New England color. It’s one of those images that feels both cinematic and true.

A Ballroom Reception Full of Energy & Celebration

The reception kicked off with an energy you could feel the moment the doors opened, and the live band elevated everything from the start. Kayla and Nolan’s first dance was absolutely epic, equal parts elegant and electric, with the whole room locked in as if nothing else existed. Then the party found its signature detail: a custom ice sculpture built for espresso martinis, which instantly became the most popular stop of the night and the perfect wow moment for guests. From there, the dance floor stayed heated from song one to the very end, packed with friends and family who came ready to celebrate hard, laugh loud, and keep the night moving.
