Their day began with an intimate first look under the towering trees of Pliny’s Allee, where soft sunlight filtered through the leaves and wrapped the couple in a moment of pure emotion. The connection between Missy and Jandro was palpable — quiet, joyful, and deeply sincere — and it set the tone for the rest of their celebration.

We then moved to two breathtaking settings: the Limonaia and the Garden of Inspiration. The citrus trees and lush greenery of the Limonaia offered a warm, organic backdrop, while the vibrant blooms of the Garden of Inspiration added lively color and energy to the imagery. The Secret Garden, a hidden gem within the botanical wonderland, set the stage for a magical afternoon ceremony. With a harpist playing throughout the ceremony, the whole Secret Garden felt even more cinematic. Every note floated through the trees and wrapped the vows in this soft, dreamy atmosphere, like the garden itself was part of the music. It was the kind of sound that instantly slows everyone down and makes the moment feel intimate, intentional, and timeless.

After the ceremony, the celebration moved to the Orangerie, a stunning glass-walled reception space that brought elegance and light into every frame. With twinkling lights and a romantic atmosphere, this space was the perfect place for the couple’s first dance and candid reception moments — all captured through my lens.

Later that night, we snuck away to Pliny’s Allee for night portraits, and it was pure magic. On the illuminated boardwalk, Missy and Jandro stepped into a glowing pocket of golden light with a haze behind them, creating that dramatic, storybook look where the forest fades away and it feels like they have the whole world to themselves. We also captured a quieter, romantic scene under the twinkle lights near the Orangerie, with warm bistro lighting stretching into the distance and soft uplighting on the trees, the perfect mix of elegant and cozy as they held each other close and soaked it all in.
