Ashley + Zach - Hawthorne Hotel Wedding, Salem MA
Ashley and Zach began their wedding day at the Killam’s Cottage, a beach house owned by Ashley’s family where they had spent many wonderful summer weekends. After Ashley slipped into her stunning gown designed by Maggie Sottero, she walked out to the dock where her dad was patiently waiting to see his daughter for the first time in her beautiful white dress. The couple officially exchanged vows at St. Mary’s Parish in Rowley, Massachusetts. The ceremony was short and sweet. Afterward, we headed to Winter Island and took advantage of the soft light from the cloudy sky, as well as the rich textures of the rocks, sand, and water to capture fun group shots and intimate portraits of the newlyweds.
At the Hawthorne Hotel, we captured a few dramatic shots by the staircase to highlight Ashley’s long train one last time before it was bustled. Throughout the evening, the energy from the crowd never faded. Heartfelt speeches, lively dancing, and joyful cake cutting filled the night with unforgettable moments. Toward the end of the evening, we brought Ashley and Zach outside for a few shots at the iconic elevator where the television show "Bewitched" was filmed in 1970. It was a magical night for Ashley and Zach, a memory they will treasure for years to come.
