The Lenox Hotel

The Lenox Hotel is a wonderful option for couples who want a classic Boston wedding in the heart of Back Bay. Its historic charm and elegant interiors create a warm and sophisticated atmosphere that feels timeless.

Located just steps from the Boston Public Library and Copley Square, the Lenox also offers beautiful nearby portrait locations. Couples often take advantage of the surrounding Back Bay streets, historic brownstones, and the Boston Public Garden for romantic wedding photos before returning to the venue for their reception.

  • Capacity: Up to 150 seated in the Dome Room.

  • Per-Head (F&B): $250 – $295 (Classic Wedding Package).

  • Site Rental Fee: Often waived if minimums are met; total investment typically starts at $25,000 for peak dates.

The State Room

For couples dreaming of a modern Boston wedding with breathtaking views, The State Room offers one of the most dramatic settings in the city. Located high above downtown Boston, the venue features panoramic skyline views that create an unforgettable backdrop for ceremonies and receptions.

Hampshire House

Hampshire House is one of Boston’s most iconic and romantic wedding venues. With its historic character, elegant interiors, and beautiful views overlooking the Boston Public Garden, the venue offers a timeless setting for couples who appreciate classic architecture.

Pagu Cambridge

Cambridge City Hall

For couples planning a small ceremony or elopement, Cambridge City Hall offers a meaningful and historic setting right near Harvard Square. The Sullivan Chamber provides a beautiful backdrop with classic architecture and a formal yet intimate atmosphere.

After the ceremony, couples can easily walk to nearby portrait locations such as Harvard Yard, Harvard Square, or the Charles River. These surrounding areas provide a wonderful mix of historic architecture, lively city streets, and scenic waterfront views for wedding photos.

  • Capacity: Strictly 10 guests maximum. Some couples have reported flexibility up to 12–14 people if the larger Sullivan Chamber is available, but this is not guaranteed as it is prioritized for city business.

  • Ceremony Fee: $240 for the civil ceremony performed by the City Clerk.

  • Mandatory License Fee: $50 for the marriage license.

  • Note: Ceremonies are by appointment only and must be scheduled at least three days after applying for your license.


Wellesley Country Club

Wellesley Country Club is a wonderful option for couples looking for a refined and elegant venue just outside Boston. The venue offers beautiful views of the golf course and surrounding greenery, creating a peaceful setting for ceremonies and receptions.

Elm Bank Reservation

  • Capacity: Up to 230 seated in the Hunnewell Carriage House ; up to 400+ in outdoor tents.

  • Per-Head (F&B): $150 – $250+ (Estimated; catering is hired separately from an approved list).

  • Site Rental Fee: $7,500 – $12,000.

  • Ceremony Fee: Included in the site rental, though rental equipment (chairs) is an extra cost.


Hyatt Regency Cambridge

Set along the Charles River, Hyatt Regency Cambridge feels both peaceful and close to the energy of the city. Between the waterfront views, the elegant interiors, and the golden light at dusk, it is a wonderful venue for couples who want a classic celebration with a subtle Boston skyline touch.

  • Per-Head (F&B): $182 – $234+.
